Super Green Smoothie Charged with “C”

Sorry, no pics to post with this recipe. My camera is still acting up…

Anyway, today’s recipe is another green smoothie. However, this one is slightly different because of the superfoods I used. It’s super-charged with my typical favorite superfoods. Plus I’ve added camu camu – which gives this recipe the added vitamin “C”! I love the flavor of this smoothie – it’s very creamy and reminds me almost of a cream-sickle.  Hope you like it — better yet, hope you love it!!!

Ingredients:
scoop raw vanilla protein powder
handful goji berries
1 scoop Amazing Grass Green Superfood Powder
1 T camu camu powder
1/2 T bee pollen
2 handfuls raw spinach
1 large banana (peeled)
1 1/2 cups mango cubed
1 cup papaya cubed
2-3 cups fresh coconut water
3-4 drops vanilla flavored SweetLeaf liquid stevia
1 tsp raw honey
purified water to cover

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender, and mix until smooth and creamy. Add ice, or freeze fruit prior to blending for a more frothy shake!

Refreshing Green Hawaiian Smoothie

Well, I make a lot of green smoothies, and even though most of them have similar ingredients, it only takes one or two items to make it taste different and special. This one I made tonight, and it was so refreshing, smooth, and super delicious! It reminded me of being in Hawaii because of the wonderful flavor and aroma. Not only was it energizing and filling, but the family really love it too!

Note: Freezing your fresh fruit ahead of time always makes for a nice cold, creamy smoothie!

Ingredients:
1 scoop raw protein powder
2 tsp vanilla bean powder
1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 to 1 cup fresh frozen mango chunks
1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh papaya chunks
2 cups or more fresh spinach
1 scoop Revitaphi green super food (or super powder greens of your choice)
1T raw coconut butter
1 large peeled banana
1T bee pollen
5-6 drops clear liquid SweetLeaf stevia
1 tsp raw honey
12oz or more fresh coconut water
purified water (enough to cover fruit)
4-5 ice cubes made with purified water

Preparation:
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender, and mix on high until super smooth, creamy and somewhat thick like a shake. Serve cold. Makes about 2-4 tall glasses. Yummo!
